Our Story (Neutral)
Neutral was born from a seasoned coffee enthusiast's pursuit of the ultimate coffee experience.
In 2019, founder Keaghan took over his father's stainless-steel manufacturing factory. However, instead of continuing the traditional tableware business, he made a bold decision: to completely transform the factory and focus on the research and development of professional coffee equipment. The motivation was simple. He felt that the traditional "tapping" method of cleaning portafilters was inelegant—noisy, inefficient, damaging to the wrists, and lacking in aesthetic appeal. Determined to change the status quo, Keaghan turned his coffee shop into a laboratory. Beginning with a modified electric drill as a motor, he designed and tested countless cleaning heads, going through numerous revisions and restarts. After extensive experimentation and relentless refinement, the first automatic portafilter cleaner, the NS300, was launched in 2021, marking the birth of the NEUTRAL brand.
For Keaghan, an engineer by training, both the brand name and our flagship product, the NS300 Pro, embody a dual spirit.

In 2022, with the establishment of a professional team and a modern manufacturing facility, the first-generation NS300 officially entered mass production. We carefully listened to feedback from thousands of users, incorporating their insights into every iteration. This relentless pursuit of improvement ultimately led to the creation of the NS300 Pro.
