Significance of NS300
Our Story · NEUTRAL
NEUTRAL was born from the passion of a true coffee lover. In 2019, our founder, Keaghan, took over his father's stainless steel factory, but chose to abandon the traditional cutlery business and instead transform the factory to focus on the production of coffee tools. The reason was simple: during his daily brewing, he realized that hammering to clean coffee portafilters was noisy, wrist-worn, inefficient, and far from aesthetically pleasing.
So, he conducted countless experiments in his own café: using a drill instead of a motor, designing and testing countless cleaning heads, and repeatedly failing and starting over. After "N attempts," the first NS300 portafilter was finally launched in 2021, and the name NEUTRAL was born. The "N" represents the spirit of continuous testing and improvement.
By 2022, the team and factory were fully established, and mass production of the NS300 began. We carefully listen to every user's feedback and continuously improve and refine it.
In 2025, we launched the upgraded NS300 Pro—stronger, more durable, with a more refined metallic finish, and designed around real user needs. Throughout this journey, we've remained true to our belief: no challenge is too great to overcome.
