This NS300Pro rubber insert is precision-shaped for 58mm portafilter baskets that have a flat bottom combined with angled (tapered) walls — a profile distinct from the more common straight right-angle wall baskets. Designed to create a flush seal between the NS300Pro cleaning head and the sloped inner surface of your portafilter basket, it ensures coffee puck residue is cleared cleanly and thoroughly with every automated cleaning cycle.
Which portafilters have a flat-bottom, angled-wall profile?
This less common but increasingly popular profile is found on:
- IMS precision filter baskets (Competition and B70 series) used in 58mm portafilters
- VST precision baskets (18g, 20g, 22g) widely used in specialty cafés
- Select Gaggia Classic and Gaggia Classic Pro stock baskets
